When Do I Enrol?
You may enrol for an upcoming PS146/RG146 Gap Training Short Course at any time - simply download the flyer for the course date that you would like (dates are listed on the PS146/RG146 course page), complete the attached registration form and return it to us with payment. (Note: information on how to return it to us is contained at the bottom of the registration form).
What if I have not completed the Macquarie University Master of Applied Finance?
The only requirement for current MAFC students undertaking the PS146/RG146 Gap Training Short Course is that they must have completed the 5 core subjects of the Masters program. If you have completed the 5 core subjects but have not yet completed your elective courses, you may undertake the PS146/RG146 Gap Training Short Course.
Can I join the MAFC PS146/RG146 Gap Training Short Course if I have completed a Masters program at another institution?
The MAFC PS146/RG146 Gap Training Short Course is only open to current students or graduates of the MAFC Masters progam.
If you have completed a Master of Applied Finance at another institution, please contact the institution that awarded you the Masters for more information on how to obtain PS146/RG146 compliance through that institution. Alternatively, you may find ASIC's online eTraining Register useful in assisting you with choosing a training provider for PS146/RG146 compliance.
Is the cost covered by my Master's fees?
The PS146/RG146 Compliance Gap Training Program is offered as a separate, optional course, and attracts a small fee.
When can I collect my course notes?
You should collect your notes in advance and read them prior to commencing the training session. You will be assessed during the final exercise on the day of the training.
When did the Applied Finance Centre begin offering this compliance training short course?
The Applied Finance Centre listed the course with ASIC in August 2007. The course began taking enrolments in October 2007.
