Tanya is Director Market Insights & Portfolio Implications, working for the CIO at the Future Fund Australia’s sovereign wealth Fund having previously been a Director with the Listed Equities team for over two years.
Previously Tanya was the Head of Macquarie Securities Group’s (the institutional equities broking arm of Macquarie Group) Australian Macro research teams and was an Executive Director of Research for the Securities division of Macquarie Group Ltd. Tanya’s focus was on portfolio and stock strategy for the Australian equity market joining Macquarie in 2004 advising institutional investors globally.
Tanya has over 20 years experience in both equities research and funds management, as investment analyst, portfolio manager as well as heading up the overall Australian macro and strategy research team at Macquarie Group. She is a highly regarded/rated analyst by both domestic & international institutional investors and was consistently the most highly voted Equity Strategist in the Australian market. She holds BComm Economic (Hons) from University of NSW, a Masters of Finance from University of Technology Sydney, and a Masters of Finance from the international business school INSEAD. Tanya was also recognised in 2008 by the Australian CFO magazine as Equity Analyst of the Year.
John-Henry Eversgerd is the leader of PPB Advisory’s valuation and dispute practice in Sydney. As a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder with a Masters of Business Administration, he has specialised in valuations and financial analysis for over 20 years and has been a leader in wide range of matters including providing independent expert evidence in commercial disputes and performing detailed valuations for tax, M&A, financial reporting and strategic purposes.
John-Henry is editorial advisory board chair of Business Valuation Australia, a quarterly journal for valuation practitioners. He lectures on valuation topics at the University of Melbourne and is on Macquarie University’s advisory panel for its business valuation graduate program. He is also a member of the Institute of International Business Valuers’ taskforce assisting in the development of an internationally recognised business valuation accreditation.
Mr. Eversgerd’s specialties include company valuation, valuation for disputes and litigation, independent expert evidence, corporate finance, investment evaluation, corporate tax efficiency, intellectual property valuation, intangible assets, impairment testing, purchase price allocations, thin capitalisation efficiency, and tax consolidation.
Jamie is a Chartered Accountant with over 14 years’ professional experience. He joined EY’s assurance practice in 2002, and has had over 8 years’ experience in EY’s Valuation & Business Modelling team.
During his time at EY, Jamie has worked closely with major Australian and global clients across various sectors, including resources (mining and oil & gas), media, power & utilities, infrastructure, financial services and healthcare.
As a valuation specialist within EY’s transactions service line, Jamie has focussed on valuations of businesses, intangible assets, impairment testing and analysis and independent expert’s reports.

Caleena has over 30 years’ experience in the provision of independent advice and business/deal analysis to companies and their stakeholders. She joined Grant Samuel in 1994 and was appointed a director in 2000.
Caleena has extensive experience across a range of industries and has been responsible for many of Grant Samuel’s valuations and independent expert’s reports. She is commercially focused with a reputation for integrity and diligence.
Caleena commenced her career at Ernst & Young (then Arthur Young) in 1982, working in business services and corporate finance over 12 years. She has a Bachelor of Business from University of Technology, Sydney and is a fellow of Chartered Accountant in Australia and New Zealand.
