Congratulations to MAFC's 2017 Melbourne graduates and award winners
20 March, 2018
On 15th March, MAFC celebrated its 23rd Melbourne graduation. 35 graduates join MAFC’s alumni community of 5,500 graduates networked across 43 countries around the globe.
MAFC Director Associate Professor Anne Cooper opened this year’s celebrations in front of over 100 guests. “We are proud to have celebrated the achievements of around 650 graduates in Melbourne.” said Associate Professor Cooper, who also urged graduates to “engage with the world and savour diversity – challenge yourself to take a stand on societal and ethical issues. Embrace life-long learning because you are all going to end up in careers very different from now, some of which will not have been invented yet.”
Guest speaker Dennis Gentilin, Founding Director of Human Systems Advisory, and an Adjunct Fellow at MAFC, spoke passionately about conduct and ethical issues in the workplace, and particularly those currently plaguing the banking industry.
Shannon Monagle, spoke on behalf of the graduating class, sharing his memories and thoughts.
MAFC warmly congratulates our 2017 graduates and prize winners, with special mention to Michael Jukes who was awarded the Prize for "Best Overall Performance in Melbourne" for 2017.
