NAB / MAFC Women's Mentoring 2017 Program End of Year Celebration
18 December 2017
Earlier this month, we celebrated the fifth year of our NAB/MAFC Women's Mentoring Program which, since 2013, has continued to address the imbalance of female participation in senior management in financial services. MAFC and Macquarie University's strong partnership with NAB has been crucial in developing and delivering this positive and progressive program for women in the finance industry.
In its 5 years, 27 mentees, selected from Melbourne and Sydney, have successfully completed the program. We are particularly proud of these students who have been great ambassadors for Master of Applied Finance and Macquarie University. Special thanks to all the mentors who have dedicated their time and shared their knowledge over the past 6 months. Without the mentors, vital programs such as these simply would not happen.
We look forward to being involved in further programs such as this one and we hope the students have come out of this journey feeling inspired, motivated and educated to reach for those new and challenging opportunities in employment and leadership in the finance industry.
