Macquarie University Applied Finance Centre (MAFC) is the first strategic partner of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association in Australia. This strategic partnership is an acknowledgement that at least 60% of the required body of knowledge for CAIA candidates is covered within the Master of Applied Finance (MAppFin) curriculum. Candidates preparing for the CAIA qualification will therefore benefit from undertaking the MAppFin program.
Under the partnership, the first of its kind in Australia, the Applied Finance Centre’s students will have access to the CAIA Association's curriculum and events and be eligible to apply for scholarships to earn the CAIA Charter, which requires passing rigorous Level I and Level II examinations.
For the CAIA exam preparation, we would recommend you follow the suggested program below.
